I Love His Church...and I Want to Honor God!

I Chronicles 29:1-18

THEME: Every good thing comes from God. At a pivotal time in history, God used King David to call the people to do something great. The people joyfully responded and gave generously. This is a strategic time at FBCO for every Christ-follower to demonstrate that you love His church. Do you?

I. I Love His church because of the master and His message.

1. God turns perishing stuff into eternal joy. (I Chronicles 29:3)

II. I love His church because of her members who are ministers. (I Chronicles 29:5-9)

1. We must be prepared to worship with returning tithes and giving an offering to "Imagine!" (I Chronicles 29:2,5)

2. Pray faithfully and discuss thoroughly. (I Chronicles29:17)

III. I love His church and want to reaffirm my commitment to Honor God. (I Chronicles 29:10-20)

1. $ are turned into souls at FBCO!

"Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him." Psalm 126:5-6

2. Reminds us God cares for His people. (I Chronicles 29: 12,18)

"Who then is willing to dedicate himself to the Lord?"

Make today's word from God practical by....

1. All members, old and new, either reaffirming their commitment to "Imagine!" or making a new commitment.

2. Thank God for sending Christ and for His daily provision and care!

3. Pray April 9th will be a great day as we see the sacrifice of Jesus
and make our commitment afresh to "Imagine!".
