The Teaching Method of Jesus

Acts 1:1-3

THEME: Jesus is the world's greatest teacher. What makes

Him so good? His content is from God. His motives

are pure. There is a missing ingredient that reveals

why Jesus is the most transformational teacher

ever. Do you know what it is?



I. Leading by example is the bridge between

information and transformation.

Jesus' method of life change:

1. Model for them how to live.

2. Tell them how they can make a

difference.

3. Empower them with

opportunities.

II. Obedience to the known will of God

reveals the authentic Christ-follower.

Love + Trust = Obedience

"If you love me, you will obey what I command."

John 14:15

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you."

John 15:12

Make it practical:

Think about the following today and then do something about it.

1. Where do you not trust God? Pray and ask Him for the courage to be
pleasing to Him in that area?

2. Jesus loved you so much that He went to the cross for you! Thank Him
for His sacrifice.
