Launch Out Into the Deep

Luke 5:4-7

I. The command of the Lord. Luke 5:4)
He also calls us to launch out into the deep:

1. In our search for Him. Jeremiah 29:13 Philippians 3:10
2. In our service to Him. Ephesians 2:10
3. In our stewardship of His possessions. Malachi 3:10
4. In our praise of Him. Psalm 100:4

II. The circumstances of the Disciples. (Luke 5:5)

* Satan always wants us to look at the circumstances.

We've worked hard.
We haven't caught anything .
We do the same thing.

1. He tells us to spend time with Him. Matthew 11:28-30
2. He tells us to serve Him. John 15:16
3. He tells us to give to Him. Matthew 6:21
4. He tells us to praise Him. Psalm 145:21

III. The compliance of the Disciples. Luke 5:5

Their obedience was not dependent on the circumstances but only to the command of the Lord.
