Extravagant Love

Theme: God delights in simple faith. When people, out of their love and devotion to Christ, do their best-God takes notice. Today is a defining moment in redemptive history at FBCO. What we do today changes the course for years to come. May we follow the extravagant devotion of this woman and spread His fame throughout the earth.

I. Extravagant love is marked by sacrifice.
(Mark 14:1-3)

II. Extravagant love does your best now.

"Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your stakes."
Isaiah 54:2

III. Extravagant love may be criticized by spectators.
(Mark 14:4-5)

V. Extravagant love always comes back to bless you. (Mark 14:6-9)

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:21

Value the Vision:
1. Thank God for the sacrificial gift of Christ on a cross for our sins and that we can have peace through Christ.
2. Pray every Christian at FBCO will sacrificially give to resource the vision of leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
