If God Says 'No', Will You Still Serve Him?
Daniel 3:15-18

THEME: We talk a lot about the abundant life and how God provides. But do you know when you serve Christ, you will suffer? In suffering we grow more, learn more and want to know Christ more than in times of ease. Are you faithful to God in harsh times as well as easy times?
I. When you stand for God, you don't bow to fear.
(Daniel 3:1-6, 12)
1. Avoid seduction of worshipping comfort and things.
2. Avoid seduction of worshipping people.
II. Perseverance resists seduction and deepens real love.
(Daniel 3:15-17)
1. Fake faith: "I'll serve God if he provides.
(Daniel 3:17)
2. Fearless faith: "Even if I die, I'll God."
(Daniel 3:18)
III. Faith that is victorious today:
1. Persecution deepens your devotion to Christ.
I Timothy 3:12
2. Perseverance influences others for Christ.
I Peter 2: 20
3. Presence of Christ is sweetest when you honor Him.
4. Purification burns away all that binds you.
"He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness,"
Malachi 3:3
Make it personal:
1. Will you trust God even if things don't work out like you planned-knowing that he has a better plan?
2 When you face trials, your reaction either honors or dishonors Christ. Which will it be?
3. Thank God that He knows best and that we get to serve Him today!
